Privacy policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This policy describes how Olivine (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our websites, account surfaces, APIs, and related services (together, the “Services”). It is not legal advice. If you need terms that govern commercial use, refer to your order form or service agreement.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:
- Account and identity data — username, email address, password hash, verification codes, and session identifiers needed to authenticate you.
- Billing data — payment and subscription status processed by our payment processor (for example, Stripe). Olivine does not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and operations data — API and tool invocations, timestamps, status, billing units, and similar telemetry required to operate, secure, and bill for the Services.
- Support communications — messages you send to us (for example, email to support@olivinestation.com), including metadata needed to respond.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and diagnostic logs used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
How we use information
We use the categories above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce rate limits;
- Invoice, collect payment, and maintain financial records;
- Respond to support requests and legal process where required;
- Comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Olivine and our users.
We do not sell your personal information as that term is defined under applicable U.S. state laws.
Public and library browsing
Portions of our marketing site and public library may be available without an account. Standard web logs and analytics (if enabled) may still collect technical data as described above.
Service providers
We use subprocessors (such as hosting, email delivery, authentication, analytics, and payments) that process data on our instructions. A current list is available on request at support@olivinestation.com.
Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Services, and as required by law, audit, or billing disputes. Usage and log retention periods may vary by system; contact us for specifics tied to your workspace.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International transfers
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@olivinestation.com. We may verify your request before responding.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
